In this episode I talk about the rainy weather, my weekend, a Shit Just Got Real featuring a dog biting a woman’s nose off, a Dude What The Fuck? with a woman tearing her man’s nuts, and Tha O Show featuring special guest Pretty Ricky of Doom Mates fame…meaning my fame on my site. If you don't like changeable weather, never come to Ireland. 'If you don't like the weather, just wait ten minutes' is what we usually tell tourists. It was quite funny over the weekend though, everyone in the city centre had dressed for the ongoing wintry weather we've been having (i.e. everyone was wearing at least two layers and a warm jacket) and when the sun came out for a few minutes and it got really hot (70 degrees! We're mellllting) everyone starting stripping off. It was like a Mexican wave of semi-nudity rolling down Grafton Street.
ReplyDeleteI once bit a dog. I was about 5 maybe? Being a dog-lover from a very early age, I used to pester the poor old grumpy dog that belonged to my gradnparents' neighbours. It got annoyed with me one day and bit me, not viciously or anything, just enough to give me the message 'Leave me alone, kid!'. Of course I got a shock and went in crying to my parents who, in their responsible way, told me to go back out and bite it back. So I did. Lucky I wasn't savaged. The old dog probably just thought 'this fucking kid!'. What he should have thought of course is 'This kid's fucking parents!'.
I love that you're watching all these classic British comedies! Me and my friends LOVED the Young Ones, especially the 'Bambi' episode. None of us have seen any of that show in years but we still scream lines from it at each other at appropriate times. 'IT'S ONLY UNIVERSITY CHALLENGE RICK! IT'S ONLY UNIVERSITY CHALLENGE!'.(Screamed at anyone who's getting their panties in a twist over something silly). And of course the classic 'Take THAT Thatcher!'. (Screamed at someone when you have won a pointless victory over them). Ah, great TV, good times.
Mexican Wave Of Semi-Nudity is now the name of my band now. It rained like crazy last Monday. Streets were kind of flooding. If I came to Ireland I expect a parade and a bar full of people listening to a live Rosscast.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I love picturing a tiny Hoozle biting a dog! Oh, that needs to be drawn! I bite my ex's cat on the tail when he scratched me. He looked at me like "This fuck just happened?!" It wasn't hard but it got his attention. I love that we have to point out that it wasn't that bad what we did. Damn animals started it first.
I watched the University Challenge one! H. shows me so many shows that I have never seen. That's how I got to watch Father Ted. We watched some Pippi Longstocking movies too. I think the one I laughed hardest at was the one where a vampire was delivered. That episode made absolutely no sense.
I probably could arrange a parade and a pub for a live Rosscast...I have many friends who are always ready for a party plus a captive audience of several hundred college-age Americans. You bring the party, I bring the party people.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see your version of the dumbfounded & annoyed expression on that poor pooch's face. I've never seen a dog look so exasperated.
Hahaha, the part of that Young Ones episode I loved the most was where the boys panicked and ran to the Tube station and for no reason at all, Motorhead started banging out Ace of Spades. Totally surreal moment. Never actually seen Pippi Longstocking though. It sounds trippy.
I am trying to make this show better. I would love to do a live one. A new microphone is needed. I want this round one I have seen that has a screen so I can yell more. Because that is what the world needs. Me yelling more.
ReplyDeleteI love Motorhead so when they just showed up I got excited! But, yeah, it totally didn't fit the situation at all. I love when Madness showed up playing cardboard instruments and then started rioting with the townsfolk.
