I haven't seen your top 5 fav. movies... I'll have to watch them..Here are my top 5 movies that you must see from 2009.
1)My sister's Keeper- Its a must see about cancer. And yes its sad but you don't leave the theater depressed, not one of those films.
2)The soloist- Dante did you see this one? Its really good and a must see.
3)Away we go- This is a funny movie- that i think has alot of heart.
4) Henry Poole is Alive- I know the previews for this movie seemed like it was all religious, but this movie I can totally relate to. Its a good movie that grabs your attention and I like the music in in it too.
5) Gran Torino-
I loved this film, I just thought the movie was heavy and real. And I thought Clint Eastwood did an amazing job. It was sad, but what Clint did at the end was just so courageous! This is a damn good movie!
Oh and Fox! I haven't heard too much about fox.. but I'd be very dissappointed if its off of time warner.. I'd end up watching the shows I watch on hulu... but that sux!!
You have to give fox more credit though.. I think they have gained a reputation of airing the most interesting/entertaining shows, but also are always the one that cancel fan favorites.
I know you don't like 24 anymore.. but I do so I'd be bummed. And Glee is a VERY entertaining show.

I have not seen any of your top films. I will start watching them though. I know all about My Sister's Keeper from interviews and reading the book review.
Dont forget that hulu is gonna start chraging soon so everyone that uses that to see the shows they missed are gonna be paying somehow. Thats what torrents are for. I watched almost the entire season of Dexter online and the last episode on cable.
And Fox is notorious for cancelling shows that I love! Space Above & Beyond, Profit, and they ruined Sliders. Thats not even the tip of the iceberg. Oh, and when I wanted to get into Serenity they cancelled that as well!
whoa.... Okay I'm not surprised that you haven't seen like my sister's keeper or away we go... but dante.. You must go rent The soloist and Gran Torino! FIRST!!
Trust me.. then catch henry poole is alive and then Away we go for something light then my sister's keeper! =)
