Rosscast Episode 166: Leeroy Jenkins!!!

In this episode I answer listener questions, go on a tirade about Sex In The City, talk about that goofy ass chick from UCLA that ran away, a list of canceled TV shows, and how not to smash your finger when moving furniture. Working my way backwards on commenting on the Rosscasts...I am typing on my new laptop with sticky duck fingers. Yeah

I love a tidy clean apartment, it's actually good for my state of mind to have everything organised. But as I am naturally disorganised, it doesn't often happen...hope your finger has recovered by now, that sounded painful AND gross...

I dunno, I have a certain amount of sympathy for that student girl. I failed my first year at college after spending my whole childhood being told how I was going to be the first person in the family to go to university and knowing about all the effort and expense my parents had gone to to help me get there. If it wasn't for the fact that my parents (read: my mother) were so generous and supportive, I might have done something stupid to avoid taking responsibility for fucking up. (I was a very immature teenager). Not that stupid though...

Yay, Rage! Suddenly, I'm 18 and moshing at FĂ©ile 93...ah memories. It's been six years since I was at a rock festival. I'm olllllld.

You would beat up Ghandi...I shouldn't be surprised. I really shouldn't be. Heehee. Forced enemas, eh? Sounds like he had issues...

I have no response to your answer to my historical battle question. You're a madman. I'm not saying it's a bad thing.

I love the original Superman movies, the first two were so quintessentially Supermanesque...one of my favourite scenes in any movie ever is where Zod forces the president to 'kneel before Zod!'. I mean, it's cheesy, it's melodramatic, but it's so Superman! What's the problem?!

I never got the impression Carrie just wanted money. But my boss hates SATC because he thinks it glorifies the worst characteristics of modern society; the materialism, shalloweness etc...anyone I know who loves the show is and was a fan because of the friendship between the four girls. Miranda was my favourite character too, and I loved the way that Carrie would always go to her when she really needed good advice and someone to tell her the truth. Also the actress had a very lovely smile (and the best clothes). SJP is not a great actress but I think she's a terrific comedian. I'm going to see the film! I went to see the last one on my own on a Sunday morning because I was fed up and needed some cheering up and boy, that was a bad idea, it was so bloody depressing and sad in parts. And I wasn't even all that excited by the happyish ending. Ah well, SATC 2 here I come.

Thanks for answering my questions. Crazy person.
