I have tried talking to Cleverbot in the hopes of befriending our one day AI overlords. Somehow it always goes south.

Dante: Good evening, robot.

Cleverbot: You too, human.

Dante: Did you hear about Zane leaving One Direction?

Cleverbot: Yes, what about it? Would you like to go there?

Dante: Uh...its not a place. Its a band.

Dante: Are you voting for Obama or Romney? 

Cleverbot: No. 

Dante: Independent? 

Cleverbot: Are you a boy or a girl? 

Dante: I tend to think I am a man with girl tendencies. 

Cleverbot: Good. I am a boy. 

Dante: That's good. So who are you voting for? 

Cleverbot: Obama. 

Dante: Sweet merciful crap! Cleverbot is a Democrat! 

Cleverbot: That is why it takes you so long to think.

In a fine exhibition of my time wasting abilities, I decided to talk to Cleverbot. What is that? It’s a program that has been out for a while that allows you to have a conversation with a robot. I tried to be nice but as always you just cant trust a goddamn robot! Below, witness what will surely be hailed as the first shot fired in the war between man and machine.

Dante: Good afternoon.

Cleverbot: How are things today?

Dante: Fine so far. Got work later. You?

Cleverbot: Where you going to go? 10.6.5.32.6?

Dante: I don't know what that means.

Cleverbot: Do you know what a king is?

Dante: Yes, I do.
