In this goofy episode I talk about Lindsey Lohan being a drunk ass, Tila Tequila being a pill popping ass, Jesse James being a woman chasing ass with legal troubles with an ex wife, Brittany Murphy’s widowed husband dying just months after she died in the same room of the house, and listener questions about tea, waffles, superheroes, and memories.

Oh, I love thunderstorms. We don't tend to get that kind of weather here (just rain...) and when I went to north America two summers in a row, there were the most amazing thunder and lightning storms. I remember standing on one of the tallest points of Nantucket Island just off Cape Cod with an amazing view, and watching a storm pass over the island, it was so beautiful. There was a huge, massive dark heavy cloud in the distance, and lightning was flashing inside it, so it lit up on the inside like a lantern. And in Toronto, there was a storm one night when I was on the late shift on the islands, and I could see the lightning streak across the sky, lighting up the skyline of the financial district. Stunning. I love lightning and thunder and mad rain. King Lear's speech always comes to my mind: 'Blow, winds, and crack your cheeks! rage! blow! You cataracts and hurricanoes, spout! You sulphurous and thought-executing fires, Vaunt-couriers to oak-cleaving thunderbolts, And thou, all-shaking thunder, Strike flat the thick rotundity o' the world!'. Yeah, I get Shakespearean. Well, it's better than hiding under the bed.
Leather tans, eh? It was HOT last weekend, apparently the first proper summer's day since 2005, it got up to the 80s in some parts of the country, glorious. And lots of Irish and British people went out and try to get ten minute tans. Me, I slapped on the supersunblock and lay out. I have noticed sun damage to my skin has become really apparent over the last few years (I hate being in my thirties) so I'm taking no chances. So what if I'm luminous white for the rest of my life? It's better than the leather tan, which a lot of my compatriots seem to be keen on. By the time Irish women turn 40, a lot of them have leathery, liver-spotted hands and awful, rough-looking red skin around their necks, along with pasty white chests, because they haven't protected their skin. It's awful. I really hope I don't go that way.
Nomination for parent of the week, by the way: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/10159398.stm, speaking of sunshine and how unused to sunshine and heat we are now, in the British Isles.
I have never heard anyone walk past me with a purse full of what sounds like tictacs. You live in a bizarre, drug-obsessed country. And a celebrity-obsessed country.
Yep, that song got stuck in my head. Wah. I've been humming it in work the last two days.
Hahaha, I absolutely knew you'd nominate yourself! Oh Dante.
Yeah, you got a taste of our television the last time you were here and every commercial is there to help fix a problem you have and possibly ones you may not know you do. Ah, the wonders of medication.
It rained a bit this morning but we didnt get the great thunder storms they promised. I love that kinda weather. When I was little it rained far more often. Not so much anymore. I havent been in hail in forever.
