I Write Stories

Kiyoshi and I have recently released another series of books. Actually its two stories in one. So far I have released four stories and it would be awesome if you all would share this link and/or buy and read my stuff. Let me know what you think. That would be groovy. They are available on Smashwords as well as Amazon. All links are below.

Veterans Day/Kilo Sierra Echo

Two great books in one: VETERANS DAY and KILO SIERRA ECHO Veterans Day: Kendra Hecksford was born into a family of Marines. When selected to “the program” she assumed that she would continue her family's tradition. Little did she know that she would be a part of something that would change the name of the arms race forever. Human weapons created to exhibit human potential at its finest.

Rosscast Episode 299: The End Of An Error

In this episode I take some of my favorite moments with past guests including Josh Smith, Alex Hluch, Big Daddy Donnie, Dan-e-o, Brian, Quinno, Rico Montana, Kiyoshi, and of course Camille. This is a bunch of random clips that still make me smile and I'm glad that they are recorded because every time I hear them I laugh. Click here for this and previous Rosscast Shows.

Folks Still Read: The Death Of Death Book Review

A few months back Parker posted a sample from his short story The Death of Death and I was intrigued. Just from the sample he gave I wanted to know if there was more to it. I knew that he wrote but had never seen his stuff. Hell, I'd “acted” in one of his short films but never had an opportunity to see how he wrote. He sent me the story and I was pissed because it was something I could never write.

One of the things I love most about reading certain authors like Phillip K. Dick, Walter Mosley, and Derek Landy, is that they will do something that makes me know that I am not at a level that is possible.

This story, The Death of Death, made me think this and for that I owe Parker a punch in the throat.

"Porn Related" (Remix)

Here's a little back story for this tale. Years ago Kiyoshi called me one day and said he wanted me to be in his film. He asked me to bring a cross, cigarettes, and porn. Sounds fun, huh? Well, not only was it hot as hell that day and we filmed at Griffith Park the day after it opened again after the fires. So as I chased his Japanese friend around worrying about what people would think seeing a big Black dude chasing someone, I wondered what this would look like when it was done. The reason there is no audio is because You Tube are whores and erased it. I will end up mixing this again with subtitles. Enjoy!

"Porn Related" Inspired By Kiyoshi Parker

Years ago I filmed a movie with Kiyoshi. Three years after making it he finally gave me my cheeseburger payment. Yes, I am that cheap. A while ago I told him that I was gonna re-shoot the movie and it wouldn't take all damn day long. So I shot this today and can't wait to see what he thinks. Enjoy.

Rosscast Episode 62: What You Talkin' Bout?

Photobucket

In this episode I once again answer listener questions! These range from what I think about upcoming movies, Tim Burton, class reunions and if its okay to whoop some ass, what its like to live in L.A, and the state of porn. I also play Dan-e-o's upcoming song "Legacy" from his soon to be released FREE album "Dilla Pickles." Also here's a link to add him on your facebook. Click this link to download this and older episodes. Enjoy!
