Rosscast Episode 30: Respect My House!

Photobucket

In this episode I talk about one of the most serious issues facing the Black community: Ashyness. But first I talk about drugs and why meth is one of the most ugly looking drugs on the planet. Enjoy!

I'm utterly confused. Lotion? For like, washing your hands or moisturising them? Ashyness? What? What?

For me, the bathroom HAS to be the cleanest room in the house. Then the kitchen. I judge people not on their living rooms but by their bathrooms. And no, it's not difficult to keep a bathroom clean. I embarrassed my mother terribly twice when I was little, first time when I refused to use the toilet in her friend's house. To this day I wonder why my MOTHER was embarrassed, it was the friend who had the disgusting toilet. (My mother is a total clean freak, it's odd that she would have such a dirty friend.) The second time in a local pub where we were hanging out (families go to pubs on the weekends in Ireland). I was about four or five, just about old enough to go to the loo on my own, and I walked out of the pub toilet with my little panties around my knees, complaining that there was no toilet paper or soap in the ladies. Again, my parents were mortified. I STILL THINK I WAS RIGHT. Cheap ass bastards who owned the pub wouldn't buy toilet paper or soap.

Still mystified by the lotion. Please explain further.

There are many kinds of lotions. What I mean is the ones for moisture after washing your hands and such. Jergens and Vaseline make the best ones. It sounds like I'm describing some kind of masturbation kit...

So, do you mean, you wash your hands with a soap or liquid soap, dry them, and then use a lotion to moisturise them?

I'm sorry if this sounds mental but I'm really curious about this. In Ireland, we just use liquid soap and a cotton towel, you're done. I can't imagine what role lotion would play anywhere in this exercise. Yet you talk about this like it's a normal bathroom habit...am I doing something really wrong when I visit the US by not using lotion?

I wash, dry, then lotion. This is mostly a Black thing. You wouldn't understand. Hahahaha! But seriously, I have to use lotion everyday. I dont like dry or ashy elbows. Look it up on google. Type in ashy feet ot elbows and I am sure you will see horrifying pictures. Matter of fact, I am gonna do that right now.
