I know in 2019 I should not find the behavior of a mother who behaved like she was in the 1980's admirable but I do. Because I am ratchet sometimes and would love to do hoodrat shit with my friends. A mother, Christina Tinsley, has a daughter that goes to a school in Orange County that was being bullied. She had contacted the school about handling this situation and when they did not to her liking she went full 80's on them. She stormed into the building like she owned the place and gave a speech that sounds better in print than the actual video. Yes, there is video of this. Kids video every damned thing.

Bronie Bullying

In North Carolina a 9 year old boy named Bruce Grayson was being bullied for carrying a My Little Pony backpack. In response to the bullying his school has asked him to just leave the backpack at home to stop from being attacked. “They're taking it a little too far, with punching me, pushing me down, calling me horrible names, stuff that really shouldn't happen” he said.

Schools officials said that Bruce should “immediately address a situation that had created a disruption in the classroom” which is a nice way of saying “kid, if you leave the bag at home you'll stop getting your ass kicked.” His mother, Noreen Grayson, says that the school needs to punish the kids that have been bullying her son.

A couple of months ago an 11 year old boy named Michael Morones tried to kill himself after being bullied for liking the My Little Pony cartoon. His mother Tiffany Morones-Suttle says that her son loved to dance and was energetic, which she believes may have been one of the reasons why he was bullied.

His mother found him hanging off the side of his bed from the railing. By the time his parents got him to the hospital he had been hanging for so long that too much oxygen had been cut off from his brain and he was now brain damaged.

Parents Failing Hard 9

I'm all about parents sticking up for their kids. I am. But some parents take that shit to a whole 'nother level and its just not good for anyone. Teri Pallat, 39, of Iowa has a teen son who was being bullied and says that the school was doing nothing to stop it. That's not shocking. Schools tend to not really pay attention to shit like that. What is shocking is the Facebook post she placed stating things like her son would “shoot up” the school and “only get the ones that caused this. He is an excellent marks men.” If she is convicted she can get 5 years in prison for the terrorist threat and 2 for the harassment.

She also went on to write “And they asked why do people shoot up schools well this is exactly why and when our son does it cause I know he will they have nobody to Blame but the administration and I promise everyone he will only get the ones that caused this.” She ended up being charged with harassment and making terrorists threats. She ended up posting $10,000 bail.

Kids These Days 10

I’ve talked about bullies before on a previous Kids These Days. It exists and will always exist in some way or another. Bullies are assholes that pick on people for many different reasons. They think they are tough, they like the feeling of making other people feel like shit, they have low self esteem, or they get their asses kicked at home and fuck it why not beat up someone myself?

Even with all these reasons its never cool to be a bully. There are many ways to combat a bully the one I prefer is just kicking their ass yourself. I understand that not everyone can do it themselves and don’t have parents or siblings that will do it for them like the girl in this story that I’m about to write about. This is a story I found on Yahoo! that is supposed to be inspirational but made me think of all the bad that could come from it.
