Some parents reach a level of failing that you can only imagine happening in comic books or movies. Take this jackass for example. 22 year old Staten Island, NY resident Paul Marquez look reality in the face and said “I’ll take option B.!” and decided that selling his girlfriends baby on Craigslist would be a good idea. The Munky sent me this story further giving me proof that New York is an insane place where The Warriors roam free!
Paul was apparently upset with the chick he was dating and posted an ad for the baby trying to sell it for $100 with the heading, of course, “Baby For Sale.”
Along with this were details such as “…the baby loved to play and have fun, but had asthma“ and that it was “really getting on my nerves.” Oh, and the kicker: “I don’t want her Please email me.”
He is being charged with endangering the welfare of a child, harassment, and a social service violation of authority to place or board out children. He is still in jail with a bail of $1,000. Not all that much if you ask me. If he had sold the baby that would have covered 10% of his bail amount.

Paul works as a stock boy at Victoria’s Secret and said that he posted the ad just because he was mad at his girlfriend. They met on the internet and had been on a a few dates. She wouldn’t pay enough attention to him. Why come women always wanna take care of their kids and ignore men they just got with over the internet?!
The mother of the baby didn’t even know that this asshat had done this until someone called to offer to buy the baby from her since this idiot put her phone number as the contact to call. I have a feeling that once this guy is free he’ll be right back in her arms and the baby will be on sale soon enough.
