Don’t you hate when you pay for a service and somehow do not receive it? You ever been mad enough to shoot someone because of it? Well, Texas resident Ezekiel Gilbert was and he did. Most times when you shoot and kill someone you get put in prison for years or life. Not in Texas which is mad at Florida for stealing all its crazy thunder! Gilbert shot and killed an escort on Christmas Eve in 2009 and seven months later she died from her injuries.
Feeling lonely and in the mood for love that Christmas Eve years ago Gilbert went to Craigslist and hired an escort for services. Yeah. You know what I’m talking about. Lenora Ivie Frago showed up and after about twenty minutes of not sex she allegedly took the $150 that she was to be paid and tried to leave to give the money to her driver aka her pimp and partner and Gilbert was having none of that. So instead of maybe calling the police or putting the money away or somewhere she couldn’t just take it and walk out of his house he decided to shoot her in the neck.
“I sincerely regret the loss of the life of Ms. Frago” Gilbert said after getting away with murder. “I've been in a mental prison the past four years of my life. I have nightmares. If I see guns on TV where people are getting killed, I change the channel.”

Oh, boo hoo! At least you get to have nightmares. His lawyers say that Gilbert did not intend to kill Frago but that he did shoot his weapon and that his actions were justified because he was trying to retrieve stolen property because she did not have sex with him or give him his cash back. There’s a Texas law that says that folks can use deadly force to recover stolen property during a theft taking place at night. Yeah. You figure that shit out. Prosecutors said that this law was for law abiding citizens and not fucking perverts that were trying to force someone to fuck them.
Seriously, think about that. He got an escort for sex which is illegal. Then when she tried to leave with his money he shot her. He paralyzed her from the neck down before she died months later so all we pretty much have is his word against hers. That’s the problem with these laws letting people use deadly force when they feel they need to. The things like Stand Your Ground or whatever strange law Gilbert used as his defense is dangerous as fuck. I barely trust the ability of jurors to make decisions they way they have to let alone some sexless loser like this guy. He knew that he couldn’t call the police because he was doing something illegal. He doesn’t look like he can fight so there was no way he was gonna try and fight the pimp outside waiting in the car. So he freaked the fuck out and shot this chick in the neck. This world has become an open season for pussies that cant handle situations without going straight from upset to kill and its seriously time for gun laws to be changed.
